Silk and Sword designs are inspired by human contrasts, multiplicity and imagined worlds. I aim to create long lasting and loved pieces, working with vegetable tanned wild kangaroo and by-product leathers. I sometimes mix media with recyclable sheet acrylic and eco-friendly linen and hemp.
The Silk and Sword workshop focuses on sustainability, with designs often featuring stitchless, glueless construction and removable hardware to encourage repurposing of materials in the future.
